It’s The Gentlemen’s Curb a lifestyle blog where style meets fitness in a BIG way. Thanks for stopping by my portion of the planet. I am sure that you didn’t come here for a lengthy introduction, so let’s get to the point. Know for sure that I had some things on my heart, so we’re getting right to it.
Hey Fat Girl, Come Here Are You Ticklish?
I recently made a status of Facebook the other day and I said that I wasn’t offended with the word fat. For years the word is used to insult people of size. The word fat didn’t start out meaning something bad. In the Bible, it’s stated: “Jeshurun waxed fat and kicked. (Unless it’s phat & that’s a whole different conversation.)
curves, Curves, CURVES
Enough of that. My preference curves. Big curves. Small curves. Curves, curves. Every woman has curves. Some curves are just larger than others. Some women have more curves than others. I have my reasons and can explain my preference, but I shouldn’t have to.
The crazy part is that I am seen as a weirdo by some because I have a preference. Please don’t confuse preference with a fetish. Yes, growing up I heard the jokes. “I can’t be imaging two fat people fxcking!” “Damn, I would hate to pay the bill for her food.” “Y’all are going to break the bed.” Or even worse when she would walk these guys would act like there was an earthquake. At the time it messed with my confidence, but I can’t imagine how those women felt made fun of because of who they are.
The truth is that we aren’t for everyone. Someone on the planet will think that we’re the best thing on the planet earth. Some people won’t. It’s a hard pill to swallow at times, but it’s best to go where you’re celebrated and appreciated. Life is too short for anything else. Be You. Enjoy You. Celebrate You.
