Sometimes we have to stop making excuses…
A lot of us make excuses as to why we cant work on the best version of ourselves. From a fitness stand point, we make excuses as to why we cant work out. “The gym is too far.” “The gym is too expensive.” Or the most famous line “I will start on Monday.” I know these lines, because I have said them myself time and time again. And at a point, I actually believed these lines. As a man of size, I definitely need to be more aware of my health. I don’t ever want to be skinny, I love my size and my weight. I just want to be alive for the long haul. So, I am trying to convince myself that these are excuses and will no longer be accepted.
Instead of making reasons as to why we can’t go to the gym, there are many items in our homes and playgrounds that we can use to benefit our bodies. For instance, the couch at home or the chair at the office can be used to our physical benefit. For some illustrated examples click the link here.
These exercises can be done on your lunch break at work. They can be done while you are taking a stroll in the park. You can even do these dips during commercial break of your favorite television show. You can perform this exercise while you are on the phone having a great conversation.
