Low carbohydrate, high fat diets might sound like the enemy of all the weight shredding diet plans you’ve ever heard of or tired, but any one of them could work for you.
Yes, any one of these overindulgence diets, with include the Ketogenic diet, the Banting diet and the Atkins diet, could work for you simply because they are viable forms of weight shredding that don’t demand you to be overly strict with yourself — strictness, more often than not, be the biggest challenge diets face.
Scientifically, these sorts of diets work through the way they teach your body to burn fat as energy rather than carbs, ultimately meaning that the more fat you eat the more you will stand to burn off as you move about throughout your day.
So, don’t be afraid to embrace LCHF diets, despite them sounding as if they should be the complete opposite of what you should be doing!
Always eat big at breakfast
If you really want to get the best out of any overindulgence/LCHF diet that you attempt then you’re going to do two things: you’re going have to go big with every meal you sit down to eat and you’re going to have to ensure that every meal that you indulge in is low in carbohydrates.
And one meal that you should focus on particularly when it comes to doing this is breakfast. Yes, you should go big at breakfast, even when you’re not even that hungry because this meal sets you up for the whole day ahead. And, in order to fill yourself with enough fat to see you through the day and with enough fat to burn off as you see this day through, then you’re going to make sure your breakfasts are always big in fat and low in carb. So, don’t be afraid to have a bit of bacon, even when it’s not the weekend!
The missing piece to your fat burning quest may just be overindulgence, so start overindulging! But, when you do, make sure you are taking take extra care with every meal that you prepare in order to ensure no carbs are slipping onto your plate unseen and unaccounted for. If that were to happen whilst you were overindulging on fatty foods you wouldn’t shed any weight, you’d put it on! So, overindulge, but overindulge in a mindful and tactical way.
