Spread Love It’s The Brooklyn Way

Here Are 50+ Men Of Size You Need To Know Part One

Plus men, plus males, plus male blogger, plus male bloggers, plus male models, plus models, plus male models, big and tall, big and tall blogger, big and tall influencers, men of size, big and tall models

It’s The Gentlemen’s Curb a lifestyle blog where fashion meets fitness in a BIG way. I happened to come across an article in the Daily Mail, highlighting some big & tall models. It was absolutely inspiring! Men of size aren’t new at all. But, with the resilient work and strides of plus women, men are able speak out about body issues, difficulties finding clothes, it most importantly modeling.

A good friend of mine Chardline put together an in-depth list of plus women influencers. Her post inspired me to make a list of the plus male/ big & tall influencers and models. We saw the recent article in the Daily Mail that highlighted men that are making strides in the model world. Which is dope, but now it’s time to celebrate. Since I am from Brooklyn, I spread love because it’s the Brooklyn way. Here are 50+ men of size that models, influencers and every other category that they fit in because all of these men aren’t limited to one field. Also, if your page is private I couldn’t share your account. Don’t take it personally, contact me privately and we can rectify the issue. We will advocate and push for each other.  Check them out: (You Can Check Out Part Two Here)

STRIPES! This year has seen the return of the “Bengal Stripe”, and I suspect it will continue to rise into 2020. Thicker than a chalk/pinstripe, and thinner than a candy or awning stripe, bengal stripes are about 1/4 inch thick, and usually alternating white and some other color. It’s about the boldest you’d want to go in a traditional menswear shirt, and bonus points for the big & tall guys out there is that the broader stripes are more proportional to our bodies (think 3.5 inch think tie vs 2 inch thick tie). Because of the bold look, it’s best to pair with solid color clothing — as is this example with these deep red/purple khakis. A killer view and a nice smile don’t hurt either 😉 PANTS: @uniqlo SHIRT: @oldnavy GLASSES: @wearme_pro • • • • • #wtwxl #ootdplussize #bigandtall #beardgang #beard #instastyle #menofsize #plussizestyle #xlstyle #bodypositive #ootd #style #dapper #plusmale #plusmodelmag #beards #plusmalefashion #celebratemysize #fashion #bigandtallfashion #plussizemenswear #bigmenfashion #menswear #menofsize #pmmlovemybody #fashionblogger #plussizemalemodel #menfashion #mensstyle #picoftheday #plusmenrevolution

“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,” 🙌🏾🏆🙌🏾 ‭‭ . . . . . . . #TheBigFashionGuy#mensfashion#fashion#style#menstyle#ootd#dapper#mensstyle#streetstyle#instastyle#fashionblogger#streetfashionDetroitblogger#BigAndTallBlogger#Menswearnewyorkblogger#NewYorkBlogger#MichiganBlogger#menwithclass#menwithstyle#stylish#lifestyle#bigandtall#MenOfSize#Beardgang #blackmen #mensfashionblog

After witnessing The Real Catwalk in support of my friend Daquan (@ourson_chapter) in 2018, I knew I wanted to do it. Last year, I was apprehensive about being part of it because of my anxiety and I just had surgery to remove pre-cancerous cells from my body but I was still willing to support. So I came to New York by bus, while still recovering and in pain, dressed in all black, carrying luggage filled with medicine and supplies, just so I could be there And, I looked FABULOUS as always. 😉 . . But this year I knew I was going to be part of The Real Catwalk because I made a commitment to myself I would do it and I kept that promise. I could have walked a runway awhile ago but I wanted my first experience to be special which is why I chose #therealcatwalk. I never did a Catwalk before (unless you count my college years) because I get so anxious. This is why I knew my first had to be something unique. I was willing to overcome my anxieties and fears for this important event. . . . The Real Catwalk is the perfect place to strut your body, your sexual identity, your imperfections, your uniqueness – anything that makes you, You. Everyone struts for their own personal reason. In the end, we all experience such liberation in expressing our true selves to the public. This is why I did it. It was pivotal in my journey of self-love to be able to show the world, and most importantly myself, that I love who I am and what I look like and I don’t care what people think. Thank you @khrystyana for giving us this unique platform to love ourselves. The Real Catwalk is amazing.

This will be the 2nd of a 3 part post showing nothing but love & support to a homie that I consider a brother. I met PJ @flyelyfe something like 6 years ago and bought one of his pieces of art that he was selling in the Union Square train station. From that point on, he knew he had a brother who would support him. I’m proud of you fam! You grind harder than most people I know.
