It’s been a very busy weekend and I can’t wait to share all of the work that happened. First off let me say that the city of Atlanta owes me nothing. I am from New York City where public transportation is the dominant mode of transportation for many. But, in the city of Atlanta having a car is the best mode of transportation. The last time that I cam, I spent a lot of money on taking Uber cab all around the city and I wasn’t going to pay all of that money this time around! So, I was forced to get a rental. I was absolutely terrified on the highway. When the 18 wheelers drove past me and I felt the car shake, my heart jumped into my throat! But, my parents raised me to believe in myself, so I had to jump on the road. I said every Psalm that I knew and hopped on 285.
“The reality of it is that I am too big to act small. So, I have to face my fears and eliminate the mental blocks from something so simple as driving.”
A lot of people may laugh, but I don’t care. I faced my fears and ultimately it adds to my character. I have been in many life-threatening situations. I used to do nightclub security, I have played semi-pro football and I was less terrified in those situations that I was driving! But, I am thankful. There were no accidents and I made it to my respective destinations in safety and in peace. The reality of it is that I am too big to act small. So, I have to face my fears and eliminate the mental blocks from something so simple as driving.
