During the time of the pandemic, we are forced to look in the mirror. What I mean is that is many of our vices are no longer available. There are few things that we can do during this time. The silence is forcing us to pay attention to ourselves. What do you mean? Keep reading.
Three Things That I Learned About Myself During The Pandemic.
I Am A Nerd
Yeah, I am a nerd. I love to learn. To learn things that are useful and things that are absolutely useless is incredible. YouTube university has helped me so much! The topics range from “how to grow a blog” to “how to make baskets.” It’s an incredibly useful tool. So much information at your fingertips. Dope!
Anxiety is defined as a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. Let me tell you, my anxious feelings were at an all time high. The media is reminding you that death is in the air. Your friends and family are reminding you that death is in the air. Human contact is limited, it’s hard to recall the last time that I shook a hand. It’s hard to recall the last time that I gave a hug. (Unless we were already exposed to each other.) Fitness is a component of my life that helps to ease my anxiety. By the time it’s all said and done, i am too tired to think! I learned that fitness helps me out in more ways than one!
Prayer. Prayer is an important aspect of life. Some may call it words to power or meditation, We have always prayed. We pray we get a good job. We pray for health. We pray that no misfortune falls on our loved ones. We pray for the safety of our loved ones etc. But, prayer reminds us that we have less control than we think that we have. A learning point is that if you don’t believe in the words of the prayer, then don’t say them.
